Cancellation and refund policy

For hosts: your Carion subscription

Free plan or trial. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund. The points below apply only once you subscribe to a paid plan.
Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, or by writing to us. The plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and does not renew. Your data stays exportable, as the terms describe.
Refunds. Plans are monthly and paid in advance, so we do not refund part of a month already started. We refund in full when you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged a wrong amount; and we will refund the current month if Carion was unusable for you for a substantial part of it because of a fault on our side.
How. Write to [email protected] from your account email with the charge date and amount. We answer within 2 working days. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method through the payment gateway and normally arrives in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.

Your booking is with the property, not with Carion. The property sets the cancellation and refund rules for your stay; they are shown before you pay and in your booking confirmation.
To cancel or change a booking, use the link in your confirmation or contact the property. The property reviews each request against its policy.
If you paid online, an approved refund is sent to the original payment method and normally arrives in 5–7 working days. Cash and UPI payments made at the desk are refunded by the property directly.
If a property does not respond, write to us and we will pass your complaint to its owner. We cannot override a property’s decision, but we will make sure it is heard.
